Extended Shelf Life

To stop growth of bacteria or to kill bacteria from milk we use either chiller or pasteurizer, due to which the shelf life of milk can be extended up to 48 hr. but with Extended Shelf Life-ESL (typically 30 to 90 days) the conventional milk processing can be enlarged with further processing steps, such as sterilization (high heat treatment).
